WICB plans meeting with sponsor
The West Indies Cricket Board is to seek an urgent meeting with its sponsor Digicel to discuss a disparaging memo criticising its leading players.

In a statement, the WICB said: "The process will be conducted in a manner that ensures fairness to the players, the sponsor and the board."

The memo alleged poor attitude and bad behaviour by individual West Indians on their recent tour of Australia.

The WICB may also inquire how the memo made was leaked to the media.

Digicel has reaffirmed its commitment to a $20m (10.56m) contract with the West Indies Cricket Board and says it regrets the publication of the memo.

The five-year deal with Digicel is the biggest in West Indies cricket history.
