The West Indies Cricket Board will not resume contract talks until players show willingness to compromise on their existing disagreements with officials.
West Indies Players Association president Dinanath Ramnarine countered by saying: "As far as we're concerned, everything is negotiable."
The main dispute involves up to 10 players, including captain Brian Lara, who have deals with Cable and Wireless.
It is a competitor of Digicel, which has signed a deal with the WICB.
The cricket board said players were barred from endorsing "a competitor of a WICB major sponsor unless he has a pre-existing agreement with such a competitor that was approved in writing by the WICB."
The two sides finished almost 18 hours of talks last week without a resolution.
Ramnarine blamed the impasse on the WICB, saying the board "made it abundantly clear at our last meeting" that its position on the endorsements "was non-negotiable."
The WICB said the two sides had discussed possible compensation for players required to give up individual endorsement deals.
It said the compensation could come in the form of "advertisements and personal appearances on behalf of the major sponsor."
