Sangakkara hit 109 against the inexperienced Windies in a warm-up |
Sri Lanka have moved the second Test against West Indies back a day because of the monthly Buddhist holiday Poya. The match was due to begin on 21 July, which is when the full moon rises over Sri Lanka and marks Poya day, with stores, bars and theatres all closed.
The first of the two Tests against the Windies begins this week and there is also a one-day international tournament involving West Indies and India.
Dates for that also had to be changed because of the new Afro-Asian series.
