South Africa warmed up for the one-day series with Pakistan starting on Thursday with a 176-run win against a Pakistan Cricket Board XI in Lahore. Shaun Pollock, in his first match of the tour, hit paceman Abdur Rauf for four successive sixes in the final over as South Africa hit 328-4 in 45 overs.
Mark Boucher opened the innings and struck 103 from 106 balls and AB de Villiers hit an unbeaten 113 off 95.
PCB XI were dismissed for 152 in 31.3 overs, Albie Morkel with 3-22.
The tourists, who won the two-match Test series 1-0, rested captain Graeme Smith and Jacques Kallis, while Vernon Philander was ruled out with a hamstring injury.
After 15-year old opener Ahmed Shehzad had cracked 35 from 44 balls, the PCB XI lost their last five wickets for 44 runs at the
Bagh-e-Jinnah ground, Charl Langeveldt also claiming three wickets.
