Kamran Akmal can rightly be regarded as one of the best - if not the best - wicket-keeper/batsmen in the world. After a struggle to establish himself, he has emerged in the last year as a dependable gloveman and aggressive batsman capable of big scores. A superb 154 in Lahore against England was followed up by two more centuries as India were also seen off. Batting at number seven, he has given Pakistan a feeling of solidity most teams are desperately looking for.
