Bracewell's side have easily won their two games so far |
New Zealand coach John Bracewell said it would be better for his side if England progressed from Group C to the World Cup Super 8 stage alongside them.
The Kiwis will carry through two points whoever wins Saturday's decider between England and Kenya, as they have already beaten both sides.
But Bracewell knows Super 8 teams would relish facing Kenya more than England.
"We would love to take England through because that would make life [for other sides] a darned sight harder," he said.
In the complex structure of the World Cup's second stage, all eight teams play the six they have not yet faced, and carry through the points gained against the seventh in the first stage.
After beating England by six wickets last Friday and Kenya by 148 runs on Tuesday, New Zealand have two points in the bag whoever finishes second in the group.

England and Kenya both have two points so far from victories over Canada, making Saturday's game a knockout match.
If there is no result or a tie, the tie-breaker is net run-rate, in which England have a slight advantage.
Bracewell also believes the qualification of smaller sides like Ireland will help their quest for a semi-final spot, saying: "There's no doubt that upsets that happen in other pools will assist us."
The Black Cap coach knows injuries could be a key factor to success in the tournament and has been using a rotation policy since the start of the year.
He expects batsman Ross Taylor (hamstring) to be back in action soon but bowler Mark Gillespie (virus/shoulder) is still a doubt.
"We need to make sure that every one of our 15 is ready to play," Bracewell said ahead of Thursday's match against Canada, their final group game.
"Once we get into the Super 8 and we start to travel, play, travel, play, injuries will occur.
"We've worked on our squad mentality right from the start. We were trying to work on a 15, knowing our history of injuries."

Even though his side have already secured a place in the next round, with the West Indies waiting in Antigua on 29 March, Bracewell promised no let-up against Canada. "The bottom line is you want to win all the games because you want to keep momentum and keep confidence," he added.
"We want to be uncompromising in our approach. We want to demonstrate a fearlessness in our confidence.
"We want to clear the boundary but we don't want it to become a slog-fest so we have to score off more balls."
