Veteran fast bowler Daryl Tuffey has been named in New Zealand's 30-man preliminary squad for the World Cup. Tuffey, 28, has been out of international cricket for almost two years because of injuries but has recently pressed for a recall.
Veteran Chris Harris has been named along with Lou Vincent among those aiming to return to the side.
And there are three uncapped players - keeper Peter McGlashan, spinner Nathan McCullum and all-rounder Mark Orchard.
McCullum is the brother of first-choice wicket-keeper Brendon McCullum.
New Zealand's final, 15-man squad will be named on 13 February.
