Probably, on his day, the most destructive Test batsman at present. However his lack of foot movement is often his downfall, and on a seaming wicket he can be exposed as shown recently against Pakistan in Karachi. The series against England could depend on how Sehwag starts, because if he gets off to a flyer, he is capable of taking the game away from opponents. A good battle to look out for will be Sehwag versus the swinging ball from England's Matthew Hoggard. FORM GUIDE In the recent Test series in Pakistan he scored 254 in one innings in Lahore and he averages a staggering 54.75 in Tests. Averages a tick over 40 in Tests against England and 38.13 in one-dayers against England (against a career ODI average of 32.21).
