RP Singh is a young and exciting left-arm seamer from Uttar Pradesh who made his breakthrough at the 2004 under-19 level World Cup. He was also the leading wicket-taker for his region during the Ranji Trophy in 2004 - taking 34 wickets. He was fast-tracked to the full international set-up and has given some impressive performances for India. His inexperience could mean the English batsmen target him for quick runs and batting his not his strong suit.
