Darren Lehmann believes uncapped fast bowler Shaun Tait deserves to replace Jason Gillespie in the Australia side for the fourth Ashes Test. But Lehmann expects Michael Kasprowicz to get the nod as the tourists look to put the series out of England's reach.
"I'd love to see Tait play. He's young, he's exciting and he's got pace, but I think they'll go with Kasprowicz.
"He's experienced and has bowled very well for Australia over the last couple of years," Lehmann told BBC Sport.
"It's one of those tight calls, but whichever way they go they will be fine."
England and Australia go into the game at Trent Bridge on Thursday with the series locked at 1-1.
While England are set to name an unchanged side, Australia look to have lost patience with the out-of-form Gillespie.

If selected, Tait would be the first Australian bowler to make his Test debut in an Ashes match since Matt Nicholson in 1998-99. But Kasprowicz is favourite to replace Gillespie after filling in for Glenn McGrath in the second Test.
Batsman Lehmann, who missed out on selection for the Ashes series, has first-hand experience of 22-year-old Tait, having been his captain at South Australia.
Tait lasted just two County Championship matches with Durham last summer, taking no wickets for 176 runs from 18 overs.
But he returned to Australia to take 65 wickets in the Pura Cup, the second-best return in the history of Australia's first-class competition.
"He doesn't know where the ball is going half the time, so how is the batsman supposed to know?" said Lehmann.
"That's not a bad thing when you're bowling over 90mph, but I think they will go with Kasprowicz for the experience."
