Pietersen's impact on the international stage so far has been incredible - I've never seen anything like it.

The clamour to have him included in the Test grew even larger in the weeks before the Ashes.

I'm pretty sure that now he's got his chance at that level, he will be a fantastic player.

I don't believe in this dissecting of techniques that goes on.

It's very unfair to say what a player can or can't do before he's had the chance to prove himself.

Until a player's had a go at Test cricket, you can't comment.

Pietersen's clearly someone who's very keen and very confident in his own ability, and I'm sure he will be a major player.
