Anderson captured six wickets in the triumphant Adelaide Test |
England bowler James Anderson has become a father for the second time after his wife Daniella gave birth to a baby girl weighing 7lb 9oz. Anderson flew 10,000 miles home after helping England win the second Test in Adelaide and arrived on Wednesday. The 28-year-old Lancastrian is now set to return to Australia for the third Test starting in Perth on 16 December. A name has yet to be revealed, though Adelaide could perhaps be considered following Anderson's heroics there. "Although this comes during a hectic period, Jimmy is thrilled to have been present at the birth and is looking forward to spending time with his new daughter before returning to Australia in the next few days," said a spokesman for Anderson.
