Solanki leads Lions one-day side

Solanki is an aggressive opening batsman

Vikram Solanki will lead England's second-string one-day side against India at Northampton on 18 August.

The Worcestershire captain, recalled to full England colours for the ICC World Twenty20, is in charge of the Lions squad for the second time this summer.

Three members of the senior one-day squad, Ian Bell, Owais Shah and Ravi Bopara, will play in the match.

World Cup wicket-keeper Paul Nixon retains his place as limited-overs understudy behind the stumps.
