Anderson claimed the wickets of Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar |
Paceman Jimmy Anderson admitted he was delighted to snare the wickets of Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar as England fought back against India at Lord's. After bowling England out for 298, India closed day two on 145-4.
Anderson said: "I'm really happy with the way it's turned out today, they are two guys you definitely want to get.
"We have targeted how to get these players out and luckily for us it seemed to work today. But there's a lot of hard work ahead in this Test."
Anderson revealed England had thought long and hard about how to get Dravid - who is known as 'The Wall' in India - out in this series.

"We sat down for a long chat about Rahul because he's such a tough player to remove," added Anderson.
"We decided to target the early period of his innings and tried to get him playing as much as possible and it worked.

"Sourav Ganguly is now a key wicket. He's a very, very good player and if we can get him in the morning we'll hopefully be able to finish it off as quick as possible."
India bowler Sree Santh, who took three wickets to help bundle England out earlier in the day, believes the match is perfectly balanced at the moment.
"Right now it's an even game and whoever plays the better cricket on the next two days is going to rule the Test match," said Santh.
"We still have VVS Laxman and Mahendra Dhoni to come and even Anil Kumble sticks around so I'm sure it's going to be a good match ahead of us.
"It's a dream come true to play at Lord's and very nice to get three-for - hopefully in the second innings I will do more."
