And veteran Glenn McGrath says a 5-0 verdict would be a "fitting result" for the series, with two Tests to play.

Andrew Symonds and Mitchell Johnson have retained their places for the Melbourne match after Shane Watson was ruled out of the series this week.

Adam Voges, who was in the 13-man squad for the third Test, has been left out.

Australia regained the Ashes after taking 3-0 series lead with a 206-run win in Perth this week.

But captain Ricky Ponting warned his celebrating team their goal of a series whitewash was still a long way off.

"The boys were really happy we captured the Ashes, it's exactly what we wanted to do," McGrath told Sydney radio 2KY.

"But Ricky Ponting did make the point that there's still two Test matches to go and the opportunity to really play well and win these last two and go 5-0 up."

McGrath joked that Australia had proved their continued hunger by cutting their celebrations in Perth short.

"I think seven hours of celebrating in the dressing rooms is plenty, we've still got two more Tests to go," he said.

"I remember standing on The Oval last year watching England celebrate when they won the Ashes.

"I'm sure everyone else in Australia who met up with any England supporter since then has really copped it, so no, we don't feel sorry for them - order has been restored."

Injured all-rounder Watson has now set his sights on being fit in time for the World Cup.

"I would have loved to have been a part of it but it wasn't my time I suppose," he said.

"I can't let the hamstring put me out of the World Cup as well as the Ashes."

Meanwhile, attendance records are expected to be broken at the Melbourne Cricket Ground after an additional 6,000 tickets were made available to the general public, taking the capacity up to about 95,000.

The record stands at 90,800, set on the second day against West Indies in 1961.The record attendance for an entire Test - 350,354 - is also under threat.

And commemorative stamps featuring Australia's triumph will be available by mid-January with Australia Post's head of philatelic sales, saying: "We expect that the demand will be massive."
