England paceman Steve Harmison looks to have recovered from a side strain after taking part in a team warm-up session on Sunday. Harmison also came on as a fielding replacement in England's tour match against South Australia, having pulled out of the starting XI on Friday.
The Durham seamer's appearance has boosted hopes that he will be fit for the first Ashes Test on Thursday.
He was replaced in the South Australia match by Sajid Mahmood.
Harmison joined his team-mates in some lively catching drills before play began on Sunday and also practised long-distance throwing.
He also did some fielding duty during the final day of England's last warm-up game to further fuel hopes that he had not suffered any after-effects from bowling in the nets on Saturday.
The Durham seamer, who has a history of back traouble, bowled 12 to 15 overs on Saturday.
Coach Duncan Fletcher had admitted on Friday that he did not know if Harmison would be fit for next week's Test.
Harmison was left out of the three-day match with South Australia match as a precaution after waking up with tightness in his side.
He missed the one-day series against Pakistan in the summer with a lower back injury (which could bring side pain) but returned for the ICC Champions Trophy.
