His quickish bowling is stronger than Symonds', but though he is very talented and highly regarded he is unproven - that's the main thing. Australia are essentially looking for someone to do the Freddie job - bat at six and be one of a five-man bowling attack, taking the pressure off the other four bowers. I personally don't think he's in Freddie Flintoff's class though, at least with the ball. Let's just see how it goes for him this time.
