Leicestershire coach Tim Boon is confident pace prodigy Stuart Broad will soon be an England regular. The 20-year-old made his debut against Pakistan, taking five wickets in five one-day games, but was left out of the Champions Trophy and Ashes squads.
Broad will be in Perth with the Academy and county boss Boon said this was "slightly predictable".
"I fully expect Stuart to be a regular member of the Test team in two years," said Boon.
Broad has taken four five-wicket hauls for Leicestershire in the 2006 Championship campaign and his potential was recognised in a call-up for the Twenty20 international against Pakistan.

In the heat of battle at the Rose Bowl, he took 2-35 from his four overs and then returned to the Southampton ground to claim 3-57 in only his third one-day international.
Boon, however, thinks he will benefit by spending the winter with the Academy.
"Every young cricketer wants to race before they can walk," he told BBC Radio Leicester.
"Stuart is under the tutelage of Peter Moores and there will be specialist bowling and fitness coaches so he's going to have lots of TLC and it also gives him a break after a long first season in first-class cricket."
The Foxes coach also suggested that Broad may yet make his Test debut in the Ashes, if, as many fear, injuries occur.
"The Academy are going to be based in Perth and will be almost alongside so he is on standby and he will go out there to develop. Stuart would respond as he has done for Leicestershire and then for England.
"I spoke to (England coach) Duncan (Fletcher) recently and he has the utmost respect for Broady."
