England plan final Test flourish
Paul Collingwood
Collingwood said England are not satisfied yet
All-rounder Paul Collingwood believes England will play their strongest side in the final Test against Pakistan.

There had been calls for England to experiment at The Oval, starting 17 August, because they have an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.

But writing in his BBC column, Collingwood rejected the idea.

He said: "If anything we want to raise the standards even further and produce an even better performance at The Oval next week."

The England squad will be announced on Sunday and new players, including Leicestershire seamer Stuart Broad, have been touted as possibilities for the final match.

But Collingwood does not believe it would be a good move to change a winning side.

He said: "Just because we have won the series does not mean we are going to lie down, take it easy and test out other players.

"We have have got a strong side and we will want to keep that together.

"We don't just want to win the series, we want to win it well."
