Varun Chopra has been named captain of England's under-19 squad to play three Tests and three one-day internationals against Sri Lanka later this summer. The opening batsman, who is on Essex's books but is yet to make an appearance in the first XI, will lead a 13-man squad for the one-dayers in late July.
For the Tests in August he has a 12-man party at his disposal.
Three Lancashire players are in the one-day squad - Andrew Miller, Steven Mullaney and Tom Smith.
