England dates for India announced
Balaji dismisses Vaughan
England last toured India in 2001/02
Indian cricket officials have announced that England will play Test matches in Ahmedabad, Nagpur and Bombay (Mumbai) on their tour next March.

But the final details of the trip are awaiting final confirmation from the England and Wales Cricket Board.

Indore, Goa, Guwahati, Faridabad, Cuttack, Kochi and Visakhapatnam are set to stage the seven one-day games.

Under the plan, England begin with two three-day warm-ups and have a practice match before the one-day series.

But the seven-match one-day leg of the trip would overlap the start of the English domestic season by two weeks.

Michael Vaughan's men head home from their Pakistan tour on 22 December for a break of almost two months.

They last toured India in 2001/02, under Nasser Hussain, losing the Test series 1-0 but tying the one-day leg of the trip.
