Ashley Giles admits England were "a little bit surprised" Australia came off for bad light after tea on the second day of the deciding Ashes Test. "You can understand it in some ways with Andrew Flintoff bowling at 90mph in dark light," Giles said.
"And we are still well in this game. It is 112-0 but if we get three or four wickets quickly we would have them on the back foot.
"You can understand it a little but Australia need to win this game."
Giles insists England will continue with a positive approach when play resumes on Saturday.

"We have to play this game positively still and try to win it," he told BBC's Test Match Special.
"We can't be looking at the skies all day. We have still got three days of hard cricket to play and if we get it right we can still win this Test."
Giles went for 31 runs in his seven overs, 14 coming off his first over as Justin Langer launched him for two huge sixes.
"With us only having four front-line bowlers in this match I expected them to come after me a bit and they were looking to take me on," he added.
"There was a little bit of turn out there but I don't tend to get the same revolutions as Mr Warne."
