Michael Vaughan will captain England in Zimbabwe |
England's tour to Zimbabwe is set to go ahead after an ICC probe cleared the African country of racism in cricket. The report's findings were largely expected, leaving England with little choice other than to tour next month or face financial penalties from the ICC.
England's only chance now of pulling out is if safety and security is declared unsuitable.
An England and Wales Cricket Board delegation has flown to Zimbabwe to report on the situation.
 | There will still be questions on the conduct of the hearing and if it was the right conclusion |
The report will be presented to the ECB following the delegation's return from a week-long trip.
The England hierarchy were keen to stress the outcome of the probe into racism had no bearing on the ECB's decision to undertake the tour.
"The hearing was an ICC issue and nothing at all to do with the ECB.
"We were always expecting to tour Zimbabwe and still are, subject to their being adequate safety and security," an ECB spokesman told BBC Sport.
England are set to play five-one-day internationals, starting on 26 November.
