Yorkshire hope to extend the stay of bowler Tino Best

Yorkshire are hopeful of keeping hold of West Indies bowler Tino Best beyond the end of May.

The 28-year-old joined on a short-term deal and has impressed enough for the county to try and keep him.

Director of cricket Martyn Moxon told BBC Radio Leeds: "I think we'll make an announcement in the next few days.

"The impression that Tino's made has been very favourable and he's bowled very well for us, so the signs are encouraging I think."
