Choudhry has made half-centuries in each of his two first-class appearances

Worcestershire have signed slow left-arm bowler and right-hand batsman Shaaiq Choudhry on an eight-week trial.

The 24-year-old was previously with Warwickshire but he did not figure in their County Championship side.

He did play in a first-class game for the MCC against West Indies in 2007 when he scored 54 not out.

Choudhry was registered in time for Worcestershire's County Championship match against Sussex at Hove and was named in the team.
