Worcestershire chief executive Mark Newton has revealed that New Zealand paceman Shane Bond is on the club's "radar".
However, the club have not spoken to the 32-year-old.
The Kiwi is available for the summer after having his New Zealand contract cancelled last week, when he signed up to the rebel Indian Cricket League.
He has been set to join Warwickshire and Gloucestershire in the past, but pulled out because of injury.
