Worcestershire have announced a profit for the fourth successive year. The club made a 53,370 surplus in the 12 months ending 30 September 2006, a 6.7% increase on the previous year.
Record membership revenue and money from a concert at New Road by Sir Elton John were among the main reasons for the figures.
Worcestershire also enjoyed success on the field in 2006 with the team achieving promotion in both the County Championship and NatWest Pro40.
