Solanki has scored over 1,000 runs this summer |
Worcestershire have granted captain Vikram Solanki a benefit in 2007. The 30-year-old has scored more than 10,000 first-class runs for the club after making his debut in 1995 and has also won 51 one-day caps for England.
"No-one at the Club deserves a Benefit Year more than Vikram," said the club's chief executive Mark Newton.
"He is Worcestershire through and through, is proving to be a very good Captain and is enjoying a terrific season," he added.
