Worcestershire expect South African signing Zander de Bruyn to arrive at New Road next week. The 29-year-old all-rounder is currently playing for Titans in South Africa's Twenty20 competition.
But Worcestershire expect him to be available for the Totesport League game against Middlesex at Lord's on 1 May.
"The opportunity could not have come at a better time in my career and I intend to make it count," De Bruyn said when his signing was announced in February.
He has made three Test appearances and marked his debut with an innings of 83 against India in Kanpur.
