Captain Chris Adams says Sussex will try some new ideas in training to help them make it a hat-trick of County Championship titles.

They begin the defence of their title against Hampshire on Wednesday.

Adams told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "We pride ourselves on our work ethic. The rest of the counties are working as hard - they see us as a major threat.

"What we're trying to do is work smarter and come up with a different angle to make us a better team."
