County champions Sussex have announced that they will tour the United Arab Emirates between 13 and 22 March as part of their pre-season preparations. The highlight of the four-game tour is a match against county rivals Essex on 19 March at the Zayed International Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Sussex will also take on an Abu Dhabi President's XI, a UAE Academy side and a Fly Emirates XI before returning.
"We are very lucky to be going to the UAE," chief executive Gus Mackay said.
"This is Sussex's first significant pre-season tour for five years - and the cricket and sporting facilities there are superb."
