Billy Taylor has been released by Sussex after telling the club he wanted to try his luck elsewhere. The 26-year old paceman, who took 21 Championship wickets at an average of 18.33, has been linked with Hampshire.
Coach Peter Moores said: "He indicated that he had already been offered an opportunity at another county and was very keen to take this up."
Meanwhile, Jason Lewry, Mike Yardy and Tony Cottey have been awarded one-year deals with the county.
Seamer Shaun Rashid has also been released after just one year.
