Surrey's Stuart Meaker hopes working with Dennis Lillee will benefit his bowling this summer.

He has been training at the Australian legend's academy in Chennai as part of the England and Wales Cricket Board's fast bowling development scheme.

The 21-year-old told BBC London 94.9: "He has his own methods of working with people's techniques and I think I picked up some very useful tips.

"It was good to be able to try out things and experiment."

Meaker added: "We had Dennis and Neil Killeen there to monitor us and they gave us tips on what they think is the best technique, and where I was in comparison to that.

"It's nice to take the focus out of batsmen and runs and purely work on your action."
