England opener Marcus Trescothick has signed a new contract to finish his career with Somerset. Trescothick, who currently holds an England central contract, will take up a three-year deal once he retires from international cricket.
The left-hander made his Somerset debut in 1993 aged 17, seven years before playing his first Test.
"As long as I am fit enough to play cricket, it will be here with Somerset," he said.
Chief executive Richard Gould added: "We obviously hope that his long and successful international career continues for many years to come."
