Rain washed out any chance of play on day two of Scotland's opening Intercontinental Cup clash against the United Arab Emirates. The four-day match will resume on Friday, with the visitors on 174-4 after a rain delayed opening day.
The Scots grabbed the initiative on Wednesday with three quick wickets at Cambusdoon, Ayr.
However, a century stand between Saqib Ali and Khurram Khan put the visitors firmly back in contention.
With more rain forecast over the weekend, a draw looks inevitable.
