Nottinghamshire recorded a pre-tax profit of £189,370 for 2010. The return to profit, after a pre-tax deficit of £148,761 the previous year, is attributed to the absence of a Trent Bridge Test in 2009. But last year's Test with Pakistan, the one-day international with Bangladesh and money from the County Championship win ensured a return to profit. "These financial results are very pleasing given the challenges we faced last year," said chairman Peter Wright. "The profit shown in our accounts re-affirms how important hosting Test cricket is to our long-term prosperity and it is very important that our members and cricket spectators continue to support international cricket at Trent Bridge. "As usual, we will explain our position fully to members at the AGM [Monday, 28 February]." In July this year Trent Bridge will host an England one-day international against Sri Lanka and a Test against India.
