Evans played for England Under 19s in 2006

Fast bowler Danny Evans has left Middlesex by mutual consent.

The 23-year-old, who joined the club in 2007, has taken 49 first-class wickets with best figures of 6-35.

The 6ft 5in former England Under-19 player began his career at Durham in 2004, where he represented the side's second team.

A statement on the club's official website read: "Everyone at Middlesex would like to wish Danny all the best in his future career."
