Fraser spent 18 years with Middlesex before retiring in 2002
Former Middlesex bowler Angus Fraser says he is curious to find out more about the newly created managing director's role at his former club.
The team recently announced they are planning to make sweeping changes to their backroom staff in the autumn.
Fraser told BBC London 94.9: "I'm keen to chat with them and find out what they have to say because it's still a place close to my heart."
The new role will oversee all aspects of cricket from the first team down.
Fraser joined Middlesex after leaving school in 1984 and spent 18 years with the club, helping them to win three County Championships, the Nat West Trophy, one Benson and Hedges Cup and one Sunday League title.
"I currently have a very good job with the Independent newspaper but there is no harm in listening to what people have to say.
"They've enjoyed success in the Twenty20 Cup this season but there are obviously things to do before we can become a successful county.
"My association with the county didn't end when I stopped playing cricket. I've been on committees at the club and desperately want to see them do well."
