Razzaq back for Middlesex
Abdul Razzaq
Razzaq has been dropped from his country's one-day squad
Abdul Razzaq will make his first appearance for Middlesex since 5 May, after the all-rounder was excluded from his country's one-day squad.

Razzaq has been replaced by the uncapped Bilal Asad, despite taking five wickets in five games in Sri Lanka.

Middlesex secretary Vinny Codrington admitted that the news was a tremendous boost to his side.

"I'm shocked and surprised to hear that he is not required," he told BBC Sport.

"I can't really understand it, but as far as his commitments to us go - obviously it's great for the team."

Middlesex, who currently fourth lie in both the County and National League tables, face Sussex in the C&G Trophy on Wednesday.

Razzaq replaces Imran Tahir who has been acting as his replacement during the past three weeks.
