Boon's side is currently bottom of the Championship second division

Leicestershire head coach Tim Boon says he is happy with the way his young side played in the 2009 Twenty20 Cup.

The Foxes finished third in the North Division to qualify for the first division of the P20 next season.

Boon told BBC Radio Leicester: "We look at the sides that we've beaten and they've had several international, world-class players.

"Whilst we've got lots of lessons to learn, we've got young players and they're only going to get better."
