Anderson took 2-62 v Warks at Old Trafford in April |
Lancashire skipper Glen Chapple is pleased England bowler James Anderson has returned to the side as they take on Warwickshire this week. Anderson, 27, did not play in England's successful World Twenty20 campaign in the West Indies earlier this month. Chapple told BBC Radio Manchester: "Obviously Jimmy's probably been itching to play cricket. "He's been at the World Cup and has been unfortunate not to play. It's good to have him back." He added: "I'm sure he'll be looking to get among the wickets as quickly as possible. "Simon Kerrigan too has bowled really well in this match [at Edgbaston. "The pitch wasn't turning that much but he posed a lot of problems and is bowling really well at the moment."
