Loye is in his seventh season with the Old Trafford club. |
Lancashire batsman Mal Loye said he was disappointed not to convert his 50 into a century in the defeat by Hampshire. The visitors wrapped up their second win of the County Championship season at Liverpool on Saturday to move above their hosts in the table. Loye told BBC Radio Manchester: "I am a bit disappointed. We need hundreds, and as soon as I got in that's what I was looking at. "Everyone's been getting lots of 20s and 30s but it's a case of kicking on." He added: "That's not just individually but collectively. "It's about having batting time, getting in and building up those partnerships and seeing where it takes us - a bit like Dimi Mascarenhas did against us with his ton."
