Flintoff had made 91 Championship runs before the Hampshire game |
All-rounder Andrew Flintoff says he feels his batting form has started to return after helping Lancashire to a six-wicket win over Hampshire. Flintoff hit an unbeaten 39 off 23 balls to remind the England selectors of his ability ahead of Friday's second Test against South Africa. The 30-year-old told BBC Radio Manchester: "I am a hell of a lot happier than I was a month ago. "It's nice to get a few runs and start hitting the middle of the bat." He added: "I am a confident batsman like everbody else. I have been seeing the ball well all season, I've been seeing the ball well for a while. "My body and my hands just haven't seemed to be going in the right places but it seems to be getting there now."
