Mark Chilton has been confirmed as Lancashire captain for his third successive season. Lancs just missed out on the County Championship last year, and were beaten by Sussex in the C&G Trophy final.
"We were close to winning things last season and the objective is now clear - to go one step further," said Chilton.
Manager Mike Watkinson added: "Out in the middle Mark is determined to lead from the front. He remains hugely ambitious, for the club and himself."
