Kent captain Rob Key thinks the county's current squad is the strongest in his 10 years in Canterbury. The Twenty20 champions have only made one confirmed signing, Azhar Mahmood, but have appealed the decision to refuse Justin Kemp's registration. Key, 28, said: "It's the strongest staff I've seen here. We're moving forward. But it's no good only looking good on paper. "We need people to perform. Hopefully we can carry that forward all summer."
