Gloucestershire batsman Kadeer Ali has signed a new contract that will keep him at Nevil Road until 2011. He told the club's official website: "I am delighted that I am going to be here for the next three years. "The club have been really good to me during the time I've been here and I am looking forward to the 2009 season." The 25-year-old, who moved to Bristol in 2005 from Worcestershire, made his highest first-class score in August, 168 against Northamptonshire.
