Kirby has been missing for a month with a shoulder injury

Steve Kirby believes Gloucestershire can still reach the knockout stages of the Twenty20 Cup.

The fast bowler returned from injury as Gloucestershire fell to a 27-run defeat against Northants.

"We're literally an inch away from turning these results around," Kirby told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.

"We just need a little bit of luck in the next game and I know that we've got the characters in the dressing room so I just hope that we keep believing."
