Glamorgan will be eager to make their mark against Gilchrist
Captain Jamie Dalrymple says Glamorgan will not be daunted by the challenge of Australia great Adam Gilchrist in Tuesday's Twenty20 game with Middlesex.
"We'll look forward to facing him," he told BBC Sport Wales ahead of the visit to Richmond's Old Deer Park.
"It's a chance for a youngster like James Harris to run in and knock him over, or for anyone else - Robert Croft to prove he's still got it, Shaun Tait.
"We'll look at the game as a whole and will not get blinded by one player."
Glamorgan's 100% record after the first three games of the competition was shattered by league leaders Sussex at the Swalec Stadium on Sunday.
However, their 14-man squad to face Middlesex remains unchanged.
"There's no reason to panic whatsoever, there are 16 group games this year," said Dalrymple.
"It's a good challenge for us going up to Richmond. We've got to have an open mind, go up there and try to put them under pressure.
"We could make it slightly harder for sides to score runs, that's something we can improve on.
"If we keep developing it'll stand us in very good stead.
"Sometimes you can learn more from defeat, it can highlight a few things for you and help you sharpen up your game."
