Cosker's impressive spin bowling helped set up the winning position

Glamorgan completed their impressive pre-season with a five-wicket victory over Hampshire at the Rose Bowl.

A solid bowling performance set up the win, spinners Dean Cosker and Jamie Dalrymple impressing as the home side were dismissed for 182 after 45 overs.

Gareth Rees (54), Mike Powell and Tom Maynard quickly blasted Glamorgan into a match-winning position.

Powell left with a hamstring strain, but the visitors eased home with four-and-a-half of their 50 overs remaining.

Glamorgan's season begins with a three-day match against Oxford UCCE at The Parks next Wednesday.
