Glamorgan's Mike Kasprowicz has won the Cricket Society Wetherall Award for the leading all-rounder in first-class cricket in 2003. The Australian took 77 wickets at an average of 21.15 and scored 556 runs with a highest score of 78.
Society chairman Bill Allan noted that it is the first time since 1954 that a bowler has taken two nine-wicket hauls in a season.
Kasprowicz was given the award after Sunday's win over Surrey.
